2. Play Doh: One of the coolest substances to ever grace our childhood hands would probably have to be Play Doh. Created by Noah and Joseph McVicker as a substitute for modeling clay, Play Doh exploded as a phenomenon that saw everything strips of clay noodles and french fries becoming a staple of the playroom as well as elaborate figures such as dinosaurs and even entire cities from more adroit hands. Truly they made toy history with this one!

3. Matchbox: How could anyone's growing up period during the 60s be complete without the Matchbox? This popular cast toy, which measures about 2.5 inches has been played by generations of boys and girls, and has come in everything from the classiest sports cars to trucks and ambulances. More than being toys they are also popular collectors items, so all you young at heart out there, hold on to your toys!
